Every quarter, the Rotary Club of East Cobb recognizes the best of the best - the best firefighter, police office and EMT in the district. They are invited to breakfast along with the rest of their unit and their commanding officer usually says a small speech/introduction as to why that individual is being honored.
For this quarter, the breakfast fell on 9-11, which made the acknowledgements doubly impactful.
Also present at the breakfast to help honor and acknowledge the men and women who keep us safe were Cobb County Commissioner Mike Boyce and District 2 Commissioner Bob Ott, both of whom are featured in the video below.
The occasion was brought to a close with Sam Pierce following up with finishing thoughts and a round of applause for the men and women who are always working hard to keep us out of harms way.
