GRSP

Buckead Rotary has mulitiple investments in GRSP. First we are thrilled to host GRSP student, Renzo Angeloni, from Argentina. Renzo has been very active in our club activities and is currently involved in an internship with the World Affairs Council in Atlanta. He is attending Georgia State University.

Additionally,two Buckhead Rotary members are GRSP Trustees: Nick Spates and Aadu Allpere. Both are active in working with 10 other Rotary clubs in support of multiple GRSP students. Both gentleman enjoy creating many experience for the students including visiting the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, going to member's homes, visiting Braves games and coordinating activites with local Rotaract clubs!

Buckhead Rotary has been a supporter of the program since its inception. This year, Trustee Nick Spates participated in a project with SCAD students, other GRSP Trustees and Directors to rebuild the GRSP website, upgrade our social media presence and update our strategic plan for the program.

Buckhead co-sponsored the Leadership weekend at Oglethorpe University January 16-18 with the Rotary Club of Dunwoody. Our club members hosted 25 GRSP students over the MLK weekend and assisted with the activities held for the students over that period. The Buckhead Rotary sponsored Oglethorpe Rotaract club hosted the activies at Oglethorpe University.
